Chuck Asks: I saw that Monassas Park was fairly cheap but I know nothing about that area. I would like no more than a 30 minute commute from Herndon VA which is near Washington DC. Please recommend decent but inexpexpensive towns to consider, perhaps a single family house or a condo..... I need to stay away for high end towns.

Fairfax county is one of the most expensive places to live in the US. Cheap single family homes are NOT there. The average price of a single family is around 500,000.

Traffic is also the other consideration. 30 mins could mean that you are only 10 miles from home and work.

Answer: California is the best place for Medical assistants. Especially hospitals here in the Silicon Valley. You make about... $20.00 an hour starting. Also... depending on what hospital you can make even more.
