Where can i look to get an electrical engineering job in New York. im looking to move from Scotland?

Answer: You do know that you have to APPLY for permission to get a work permit, from the US Government, first, right ?
That will take from one to two years, IF you are approved, and that is NOT a gurantee, for sure. So you need to be accepted FIRST, by Immigration, THEN you can go to the USA and try to find a job.
Bear in mind that your degree is not going to be automatically accepted in the USA, ...
