It is located 55 miles away in another city. I would have to drive an hour to and from. Would you seriously do it??Answer: You would probably come out slightly ahead. You should definitely consider taking any new offer to your current employeer and asking if they can match it, or at least match part of it. You might be able to get a raise, and not have to drive the additional distance/time.
