Is it hard to find an entry level respiratory therapist job in california?

im planning on going back to school for this. it is a 2 year program and i would hate to go and not be ale to find a job after ward.
im in california. how much $ do u think i would start at? im just curiouse, i dont care so much about the money just want a nice long career.

Answer: I became a Cali Resp Therapist in 2000. Jobs were plentiful up until one year ago. Jobs can still be found, but mainly night shift, and PRN (as needed) shifts. The new trend are rotational shifts. You can be called or scheduled to work AM, PM, or NOC shifts at any given time.
