I just stumbled across a site by a man I don’t know in the Philippines. What struck me is how he overcome his disability.
The man wasn’t born blind however, here’s a snippet:
Total Blindness at the Age of 23
From a man to a cowering little boy. While I was buying fried rice at a small neighborhood food stall late evening Nov. 6 2003, an unidentified man gunned me down. The first bullet went through my chest. After a blink of a second, a bullet went through my head from a gun poked straight at my left temple. Left with total blindness and without any possibility for treatment, I was broken
